Higo Shirakashi Tsuba

This is a Higo inspired tsuba made from Michi-gane or native Michigan float copper. The theme is shirakashi, or white oak leaves etched and carved in katakiri-bori on both sides of the tsuba. The tsuba is fitted with a decorated shakudo fukurin and signed with shakudo and fine gold seal or in-mei. This tsuba is Katana sized and measures approximately 85 x 79 mm and 3.75 mm thick at the seppa dai.
